| Lesson Program Policy All lesons are one hour private lessons on either your own horse or on a school horse provided by Corbett Stables. The hour includes time spent grooming and tacking up of horse prior to riding, and time spent putting horse away. During this time beginners and new students will be taught general horsemanship, proper grooming of horse and type of tack used and its purpose and how to tack up the horse and how to properly clean and put tack away after use. Riding part of lesson averages around 35 to 45 minutes. Payment for lesson must be paid for in advance. Payment can be made for the whole month at the beginning of each month or on a lesson to lesson basis. If on a lesson to lesson basis, payment is due at the beginning of the lesson. If you must cancel or can not make your lesson, Please give us 24 hours notice if possible . If this is not possible due to unforeseen circumstances please call at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled lesson time. A call received not in the time frame given or a no show will be charged the same as a lesson to cover our time and cost.
- poper attire is required. All students must wear pants and any style boot with at least 1/2 inch heel on it. Jodphur or paddock style boots are preferred but any boot will work. No shorts or streth pants unless stretch pant is specificaly designed for riding and absolutely no tennis or athletic shoes.
All lessons must be used in the month they are purchased - All make up lessons must be schedued in the same month as the original lesson
